The 11th Chapel Hill Spring Garden Tour celebrates over a century of diverse gardens in greater Chapel Hill.  From a 115 year-old farmhouse garden, a 1920s classical restoration and a 1970s five acre personal arboretum to contemporary and suburban cluster homes gardens, you will be inspired by gardeners’ passion, ingenuity and creativity.  Our Historic Spotlight Garden exemplifies a thoughtfully preserved early 1900s Mission/Arts and Crafts and Prairie style garden.  Plein air artists, musicians and select vendors will present in several of the gardens.  The NC Botanical Garden will also be featured, offering informative displays, native garden walks, sculpture by Patrick Dougherty, restrooms and water-bottle refill stations.

Proceeds Benefit

      • The interactive Children’s Wonder Garden and the programs of the NC Botanical Garden
      • The educational/community service projects of the Chapel Hill Garden Club including care of the new hummingbird garden at the Ronald McDonald House
